Event Date: Tuesday, December 9, 2008 ~ 7:00 to 8:45 PM About Heather Whitehouse: The New Britain Museum is one of the oldest American art museums in the country and imagine, it is right here in Connecticut! This gem of a museum has paintings by favorites such as Maxfield Parrish, Mary Cassatt and Norman Rockwell, to name a few. Come and enjoy a seated, guided presentation by Heather Whitehouse, Coordinator of Adult Public Programs at the Museum. An accomplished artist and photographer exhibiting her work in local galleries and in other Connecticut venues, she was also a former member of the Cheshire Performing & Fine Arts Committee. Heather was also the former owner of Kafé International in Cheshire, and has held her position at the Museum for the past two years. |
